Rego Checks Made Simple
Rego checks can be confusing — but we make them easy. Whether you need a pink, blue or green slip, our team will guide you through exactly what’s required for your vehicle. A pink slip (eSafety check) is needed for most vehicles over five years old to confirm roadworthiness before registration. A blue slip is required when a vehicle is unregistered, written off and repaired, or coming in from interstate. And a green slip is your compulsory third-party insurance — while we don’t issue green slips directly, we’re happy to point you in the right direction.
- We handle pink, blue and safety inspections in-house
- Honest advice and guidance to make rego simple
We’re here to take the stress out of staying road-legal. Whether you're in Bathurst, Oberon, Lithgow, Orange or nearby, we’ll make sure your vehicle meets all requirements. Book your inspection today.
What’s included in a registration inspection?
A standard rego check involves a detailed safety inspection of your vehicle to ensure it’s roadworthy. This can include checks on your tyres, brakes, lights, steering, suspension and seatbelts. The goal is to make sure your car meets legal safety standards before it’s registered for use on NSW roads.
What happens if my car fails a rego inspection?
If a vehicle doesn’t meet the required safety standards, the inspector will issue a report listing the necessary repairs. The owner then has 14 days to complete the repairs and return to the same inspection site for a recheck. If done within that period, the second inspection is typically free.
How long do I have to register my car after getting a pink slip?
In NSW, a pink slip — or eSafety check — is valid for 42 days from the date of issue. That gives you up to six weeks to complete your vehicle registration before the inspection expires and a new one is required.
